The Residents’ Network Garage Sale celebrated Community Business Weekend by holding an extra special ‘Saturday Sale’.  This was the official launch event for ‘Saturday Sales!‘  as The Garage will now be opening regularly on the first Saturday of each month.

The community business sells new and nearly new items for everyone.  The community donates goods, for The Garage to sell on for a small profit.  All the profits from the sales of goods, gets re-invested back in to the community.  We put on a range of trips & events for the community; and help out with local causes, where we can.

We sell women’s, men’s and children clothing, toys and small household wares.  There is something for everyone (though we don’t sell white or electrical goods as of yet).

We also run a range of ‘Pop-uP’ shops in and around our area to raise our profile and attract new customers.

Whilst, we were celebrating what Community Business’s are all about, we raised a total £429 over the Community Business Week.
