B inspired are excited to launch a series of six brand-new wellbeing & self-development sessions - designed to support local residents, boost confidence, and make wellbeing support available to people in Braunstone (LE3 1 postcode area).
Starting in October, the sessions will run on Thursdays fortnightly, 10am–12pm at our Neighbourhood Support Base, Gallards Hill, LE3 1QR. Sessions take place on: 2,16 & 30 Oct, 13&27 Nov & 11 Dec. Please note, the sessions on 27 Nov & 11 Dec will take place at The Grove Community Hub, Cort Crescent, LE3 1QZ.
Led by Vee, our experienced Wellbeing Coordinator, this programme will explore different areas that can have a big impact on people’s day-to-day lives; in line with our five keys areas of wellbeing. Sessions will involve a mix of practical tools, honest conversation and even a little humour along the way.
Sessions will cover:
What wellbeing really means and how to build your own 'roadmap'
Emotional health, resilience and self-worth
Social skills, communication and building strong support networks
Mental health and how to break unhelpful thought cycles
Coping strategies (including the surprising power of laughter)
Recognising signs of mental health concerns and supporting loved ones
Residents are welcome to attend for the whole programme, or to chose the sessions that interest them most.
These sessions form part of our ever-growing wellbeing programme and compliment the new social groups we have recently launched.
