B inspired Launch Braunstone Mental Health Network

On Wednesday 12th June, b inspired were pleased to be able to launch Braunstone ‘Mental Health Network’. The Network was launched as part of our ‘Better Mental Health For All’ programme and has been introduced as a consortium of agencies, who will be coming together on a regular basis, to discuss how better Mental Health outcomes can be achieved for people in Braunstone. 

 

The Launch Event took place at the BRITE Centre and was attended by 27 individuals on behalf of various different agencies, including: DORCAS, Freedom 4 Girls, LOROS, Heads Up, PAUSE (NHS), LLR Mind, Leicester City Council Public Health and Adult Social Care, Age UK, Turning Point, Leicester Adult Learning, Community Mental Health Team, Leicestershire Police and NHS Leicestershire Partnership Trust. 

 

It proved to be a great opportunity for the agencies to come together, find out about the Mental Health Network and about the services available for people in the area. 

 

The Mental Health Network will be meeting regularly and we hope that it will enable agencies to work together more closely, in order to achieve more positive outcomes for local people.
