B inspired are excited to announce the launch of two brand-new groups as part of our ever-growing Wellbeing programme – designed to bring people in Braunstone together, boost wellbeing and create opportunities to try something new.
These new additions are perfect for anyone living in Braunstone (LE3 1) who would like to meet new people, explore a hobby, or simply enjoy a relaxed chat over a cuppa.
Our new social group, Brew & Banter, is open to Braunstone residents (18+) and will run every Monday from 10am-12pm. Each week brings something fresh, including: lively quizzes, comedy and company and relaxing wellbeing activities. Plus, plenty of time for a warm drink and a friendly chat (and on occasion Vee’s ukulele will be making an appearance!).
The Men’s Den (18+) is a welcoming space designed specifically for male residents of Braunstone and will run fortnightly on Wednesdays, from 10am-12pm. The group offers fun sports activities, playlist battles and joke-offs, wellbeing-focused sessions and more surprises along the way.
For both groups we’ve introduced a reward scheme. Residents who attend four sessions within any six-week block will be invited on a free or low-cost trip. Our first trips include The National Space Centre for Brew & Banter participants and a behind-the-scenes Leicester Tigers Stadium tour for Men’s Den. We’re grateful to these organisations – and to Leicester Recovery College, who will be delivering sessions at both groups – for helping make these opportunities possible for the Braunstone community.
