The Braunstone Foundation, known as b inspired, are looking for new Trustees to join our Board.
Now celebrating 25 years of supporting people in Braunstone, we’re proud of the projects and services we run for local people, including:
Wellbeing and social groups
Foodshare and welfare advice
Employment, debt & training support
Sports, fitness & family activities
Youth clubs & children’s holiday schemes
the Braunstone Alert
We also manage community spaces; Braunstone Health & Social Care Centre, Neighbourhood Support Base (Gallards Hill), and The Grove Community Hub (Braunstone Park) - places where people come together, get support, and feel part of something positive.
Why become a trustee?
As a Trustee, you’ll help shape our charity’s future and make sure we continue delivering for the community. You don’t need experience - just enthusiasm and a passion for Braunstone.
Although the role is voluntary, it’s a great opportunity to:
Learn new skills & build confidence
Meet new people & get involved locally
Give something back to your community
Our Board meets four times a year, plus an annual Annual General Meeting, with the opportunity to join events and activities if you’d like to do more.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, especially local residents, women, and people from diverse communities, so that our Board reflects the area we serve. Full training and induction are provided.
If you’d like to come on board and support us in our passion for delivering services where they are most needed…we’d love to hear from you!
In the first instance, please call our Chief Officer, Angie Wright for an informal chat:
